Taylor Darnauer
Welcome! My name is Taylor Darnauer, and I work as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner here at Equilibrium. Whether this is the first time you have sought care for your mental health or you feel defeated by the “cookie-cutter” treatments you’ve received in the past, I am so stinkin’ happy you’re here. I recognize that no two walks of life follow the same stride and will always consider your care in an evidenced-based, individualized, integrative, and holistic way. I wholeheartedly believe that the only way to true wellness is by being an active and full participant in your treatment, which means I will ask that you show up as open and honest as you are able to. In return, I will ALWAYS meet you where you are, in a safe and judgement-free space. You can expect that I will ask you about your past; your present stressors, strengths, and lifestyle; and your hopes and goals for the future. I believe it is impossible to look at mental health without considering the WHOLE self, and this will always reflect in the way I care for you.

Outside of my life at Equilibrium, I enjoy challenging myself physically, whether that be hiking and lifting weights, or chasing around my two kiddos! I am an avid traveler, fan of sleep (which you will learn quickly when I ask EVERY visit about your sleep routine!), and lover of all things peanut butter. One day you WILL see me on a season of ‘Survivor’, but until then, I’ll just keep dreaming.
